Portfolio Website V2
Description
This is my portfolio website which is used to showcase the many projects I've worked on throughout the years. This site is meant to provide a clean user interface and slick animations for user interactions. Given the technology stack used here, this site runs optimally and performs great on all screen sizes from mobile to desktop ensuring a rich and exciting user experience throughout.
From a design perspective I wanted to use vibrant colors and give the site a "futuristic" feel, while at the same time conveying the information appropriately for user consumption. I designed the website using Figma and adhered to responsive design rules so the site looks and performs great on any device from mobile to 4K monitors. This project is full of technology under the hood and offers everything from a blog to custom forms for users to input their information, as well as dynamically served content via CMS. Lastly the site is served up via Netlify and boasts ultra fast page load speeds making it ideal for SEO. From idea to deployment this project was a complete top down rebuild and the lessons learned along the way were priceless.

Case study
This is the second version of my portfolio website. I took on this project because I decided to update the UI and structure using Gatsby.js for a cleaner user experience. During this build I took the opportunity to learn custom animations only using CSS and Javascript. The result is a clean user interface with sleek animations when the user interacts with certain elements. I also implemented a theme selector that lets users select between dark and light themes as well as serving up all of the data via the Contenfful CMS and fetched via GraphQL for the user to see and interact with.
